Bob is a retired Bell Helicopter Executive Vice President and a retired Sikorsky Aircraft Vice President with 32 years in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Bob is an expert practitioner of Earned Value management and a certified EVM instructor. Bob has created many EVM inovations, several are protected as intellectual property.

After 25 years with Sikorsky Aircraft as the VP of Maritime Programs, Bob joined Bell Helicopter in January 2005 as the Bell-Boeing V-22 program manager. During Bob’s three years as the Bell-Boeing VP and PM, the MV-22B and CV-22: successfully completed Operational Test and Evaluation, entered full-rate production, made dozens of combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and was awarded a five year multi-year procurement production FPIF contract.

After leaving the V-22 program in February of 2008 Bob was promoted to Executive Vice President of Bell Helicopter responsible for all US and International Military Programs. Bob retired from Bell in June of 2011.

DCMA Headquarters noted that under Bob’s EVM leadership Bell Helicopter went from “worst to first” in terms of DCMA’s evaluation of the industry’s EVM compliance and capability. And DCMA’s opinion of Bell’s EVM improvement was so noted in the 2009 Congressional record.

Bob graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a BS; has an MBA from Bridgeport University; a System Engineering certificate from MIT, and is an alumni of the Harvard Graduate School of Business. Bob is a retired USMCR Colonel with 5,000 hours of flight time predominately in the CH-53, UH-1N, and CH-46 helicopters.
